I love this place. They were here about 4X within a week. Beef is amazing. I love the flocky French consistency that just melts in the mouth. The Ruck chicken flour is also great. The chicken is perfectly grilled and very tasteful and you get a pretty good amount of chicken. Good value. I haven't had any bad experience yet. View all feedback.

I ordered the Jerk Chicken with rice and peas on the side, along with some festival bread. The main dining area, where tables probably used to be, was empty, leaving only booths around the perimeter. Unfortunately, the fountain drinks weren't operational, so only bottled beverages or water were available. There was only one person working the front of house, which made it take a long time for me to be served. To make... View all feedback.

My husband came here for the first time today. He got the curry chicken with jasmine rice I got the pepper steak with rice/bean. We also enjoyed a few rum phrases while we waited for our meals and these were delicious potent lol. I must not just say that the environment was very welcoming the food was amazing! We will definitely be back for more. Thanks for the great service great quality food.
The food here is outstanding—full of flavor! I tried the goat, and it was the best I've ever tasted. The Rum Punch was also exceptional. They played some great reggae music, including Beres Hammond, Beenie Man, and Garnet Silk. Don't miss the cocoa tea, either! The service was definitely laid-back, reflecting that island vibe. It seemed like the same person was doing it all—bartending, cooking, DJing, and waiting tables. If you decide to visit, make sure to set aside some time to truly enjoy the experience!
I recently drove across the city to eat at this restaurant, only to find a note on the door. It made me wonder why we even have social media if not to keep customers informed. Think about the people who are visiting because they support your business. The location in BP is closed until the new one opens in Blaine. I hope this saves others time, gas, and disappointment. Family.
The food was good honestly. At the price point for the dinner that's why I would have some caution going back. Good thing I live in Chicago! I can get a great complete dinner at home in Chicago for the price I paid for chicken and rice and peas. Quick service is a plus, which never occurs at many other Jamaican restaurants I've supported over the decades.
