This little hidden gem in La Pine is a must try. We shared the chicken fajitas with house made corn and flour tortillas. We got to look into the kitchen through a little opening from where we were seated and looked as though the kitchen staff knows their food is incredible! They were having fun as they cooked and enjoying themselves- food made with love taste better! This couldn't be more true than at Cinco delicious... View all feedback.
What MaryMae Johnson doesn't like about Cinco De Mayo Mexican In La P:
My husband and I stopped in going through town. The outside of the building looks friendly and welcoming. They gave us chips and salsa to start before we ordered. The chips were store bought and the salsa was several different options. The food was flavorless and it seems the cooks do not know what spices are. We ordered a taco salad and it looked more like nachos. We also ordered a tamale, which was made incorrectly... View all feedback.
Normally, the food is amazing. Tonight, I'm not sure who's cooking or if the recipes changed. I haven't been in a few years, but the chicken on my Pollo a la crema was super, super dry and tasteless. Kinda bummed but We'll see how next time goes. The puppies loved the chicken tho!
Great menu selection, great service, and even better food! Everything is made from scratch, even the tortillas. A very friendly family run business. They also have a full service bar that makes delicious margaritas. I always go for a combination meal so that I have leftovers. Portions are very generous, as are the bottomless, complimentary chips and salsas. I say salsas because they serve three types with their warm chips. My go-to items are the chili relleno with the most delicious sauce and shredded beef taco. The homemade corn tortilla shell is highly fried, so it puffs slightly and has crunch. So good!

It's local. It has lots of choices. Friendly staff.
Great food. Seems like they have upped their game with the new competition in town.
