very good service, very good products and very good dishes with very interesting flavors. wines and cocktails are excellent. On the limit, large eaters will be able to ask again in quantity (some of normal will be satisfied without problems) but this is not what we expect from this type of restaurant View all feedback.
What Armand Koch doesn't like about L'Ecrin:
After waiting for 30 minutes with menus in our hand (9 PM, usual dinner time in Toulouse), we gave up, paid, and were given a token apology. Too bad, the menu looked interesting though expensive. And I am a Francophone, so it is not a...case of language racism as is more commonly seen in Paris. View all feedback.
I was staying in the hotel for a week and at in the restaurant twice for lunch and twice for dinner. The food was ok but overpriced for the quality. The lunch staff are friendly and mostly attentive. The dinner staff on the other hand...are lazy and unattentive. Both times I was disappointed with the service. I am sitting here at dinner now writing this review. Only 4 tables in the entire restaurant to wait on and not once did any of of the staff bother to come by at any point during the meal to even ask if I would like another glass of wine nor did they bring water so I ate my meal without anything to drink. Just finished dessert and still no staff. Don't waste your time or money on dinner here. If you feel like paying for overpriced average food then just do lunch.

Not too foot to the city, good quality eating, large terrace, difficult access as it works.
