Given the location of this restaurant, I was a little surprised by how well-presented and tasty the food was. It is a little on the pricey side, but no more than you would expect from a table-service restaurant at an airport. View all feedback.
What ianbeale doesn't like about 8e Ciel:
Went here evening of 1 October. I had sausage and mash with the world’s smallest portion of garlic smothered beans. Mustard was placed in the plate almost to cover up the space. My friends salad was not so bad. €47 for two small main courses, one beer and one Pepsi. Airport rip off at its worst. Would recommend eating at one of the off airport places before flying View all feedback.
Why would an airport restaurant go the extra mile? At the end very few customers will return... This was not my experience. Asking for the day menu I found a very creamy polenta (I did not say diet-friendly) and an acceptable portion of lamb. Nicely presented. Overwhelmed by the size of the place, my second took 10 minutes to arrive after the entree was finished. But for a fan of aviation and the view to the tarmac -no problem. I did not find it expensive at all.

Nice place to relax before or after your flight with great views across the airport where you can eat and drink and watch the planes.
Came to the airport a little early as there were few if any decent early evening options to eat in the town centre. The decision was made on some positive TA reviews. I should have known that it would be poor value (reviews suggested otherwise and I can only assume that those submitting never eat out, apart from airports). We chose tapas at 4 6E a plate, yet portions were tiny and served with burnt toast. Yes, burnt and cold. Other dishes included soggy chorizo and a few lonely moules in tomato. Others in our party chose a standard burger and chips that was around three times the cost of similar offerings elsewhere. The decor is spacious modular cafe style drab and motorway service like. Other reviewers seem to like the views over the runways and if that's their definition of a good vista, then they should simply take the dog for a walk up a hill for proper reference. Awful just avoid.
This restaurant lounge is located on the second floor of the airport (door B) and with great views over Blagnac runways and Airbus hangars.we can see a lot of planes take off and landing like Belugas or other. The food is nice, we took a Soucisse de Toulouse, with fries and lettuce, great choice, grat service, a lot of room and a great view. Every airport in the world should have a restaurant like that with views on the runways..
