What SS0112 doesn't like about Chop Suey House:
Based on the reviews, it seems like this restaurant is not having a good day. Our meal was so bad that we ended up throwing it away. The chicken chow mein was bland and poorly made - the noodles were mushy and the chicken was dry and tough. It had no flavor and was almost impossible to eat. The crispy beef was okay, but it was too chewy and overly sweet. I do not recommend this place at all. View all feedback.
Only chinese here who do not give them any serious when they ask for bbq. eating is amazing. they can also pay with the card via the phone, which is handy when considering that delivery is only a pound on the phone or 5 pounds with just eating.
Until recently we have used another Chinese, as always, since we have discovered hacking suey house this is now also our way for our departure. to be pregnant with random impulsive and with two other small children the service always super fast! and lets us always with full buzz due to the good portions. many thanks that we are super fast we are all fed a child are in bed before 8! friendly service from the beginning to finish special scream to the supplier!
Chicken and onions in oyster sauce wasn’t bad at all, but had a bit too much onion in it Crispy chicken in Peking sauce wasn’t crispy at all. Soggy and had quite a strong vinegar taste. not nice. Spring rolls were woefully overdone, and should’ve been thrown away and redone. Prawn crackers were slightly overdone, but again were served up without a care in the world. We only used this place because our usual one wasn’t open on a Tuesday, and we won’t use this place again because they evidently don’t have enough standards.
Exceptionally awful crispy chilli chicken. Not crispy, not chilli, not even sure it was chicken to be honest!! Horrible soggy chunks of something that was dragged out of the freezer, drenched in a sloppy, vinegary sauce and padded out with enormous chunks of onion. Absolutely vile
