Outback Steakhouse - Blackwood

I was eager to dine out after mostly eating at home due to Covid-19. My oldest son treated me and my other sons to a meal at this restaurant, and what I had was pictured in the image I shared. I ordered a combo of chicken and ribs, and I requested to swap the grilled chicken for fried chicken. It was a fantastic decision - the chicken was incredibly tender and easy to cut with a fork. The ribs were also delicious, and the sides of broccoli with cheese and a vegetable medley were excellent. I enjoyed the meal so much that we returned the following week. The staff were friendly, and our food arrived nice and hot. It was a great bonding experience with good food for our family. We also tried an appetizer called the cheese steak Di, which was incredibly tasty. I highly recommend Outback Steakhouse for a family dining experience, as they also follow social distancing guidelines with their seating arrangements. You won't be disappointed.

This was not our first visit to Outback, but it will probably be our last. The service was good, but the food was disappointing. We were served the wrong wine for our starters, even after reminding the waitress. The bloomin' onion petals we ordered for our appetizer were cold and very dried out. My wife asked for Italian dressing and was given a mustard vinaigrette instead. The salmon was overcooked and the chicken lacked flavor and was very dry. We left feeling unsatisfied.

The restaurant offers a variety of beverages, appetizers like blooming onion and blooming chicken, salads, steaks, shrimps, and even a birthday ice cream. The food was delicious and the waitress was very helpful and friendly. Just make sure to ask for a straw if you want one with your drink. Overall, a great experience worth smiling about.

Nick was brilliant and the food was great! My kid always gets a fancy drink and had a great time talking to Nick. Fantastic!
