The dining experience was enjoyable, with the food served hot and flavorful. The staff was attentive, although the service was a bit slow. For a dinner meal, the price per person ranged from $20 to $40. I recommend trying the snow cheese chicken and japchae. View all feedback.
What User dislikes about Mami:
Came to the restaurant with my wife today. We don't have any high expectation for this restaurant as we found this restaurant through google search. After we tasted their dishes, we totally changed our thought. Me and my wife decided not going to Strathfield or Eastwood anymore if we wanna eat Korean cuisine next time. This is just the BEST Korean restaurant in the local area. View all feedback.
I discovered this restaurant on Zomato. At first glance, it seemed a bit shabby, but I decided to visit based on its excellent reviews. Surprisingly, the place was packed on a Monday evening. Despite the crowd, the service was quick. The food was outstanding, though the staff's demeanor was a bit aloof. Fortunately, the delicious food made up for the chilly service.
The restaurant is somewhat off the beaten path, but it was bustling with diners when I visited for a weekend lunch. I tried the original Korean Fried Chicken and Jap Chae. The Korean Fried Chicken was quite tasty, but the Jap Chae was a bit too oily for my liking. The mango bingsoo was also quite enjoyable. I might give the spicy fried chicken a try on my next visit.
The fried chicken was perfectly crispy on the outside and tender on the inside, and the portion size was quite generous for two people. We also received a complimentary side of steamed egg with cheese and corn, which was a delightful bonus to our meal.
