Oh my god, I can't stress this enough—this place is simply fantastic! It's such a beautiful spot, perfect for Instagram, and the food is delicious. I've tried Thai cuisine before, but this is by far the best I've ever had. My cousin, who visited before, loved it so much she insisted I try it too, and I was not disappointed. If I ever return to Sydney, I will definitely come back here! I loved the ambiance, and the mu... View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Green Peppercorn:
they are the most unethical with little or no customer service focus in Blacktown. it's a wonder they've survived as a business so far. they will overbook and cancel reservations where they can earn most money. in our experience, they took a booking for the whole restaurant, which came after my booking and then not disturbing to tell us our booking was canceled. at the time of my booking was not told me there were ot... I've visited this restaurant a few times, and it's conveniently located next to the Central Hotel in Blacktown, somewhat tucked away from the hustle and bustle. The venue features a spacious seating area adorned with Thai-style decor and a beautiful ceiling filled with flowers. My favorite dishes include the crispy snapper with green mango salad and the roast duck red curry. The desserts are quite good as well. Just a heads up: if you're planning to bring your own cake for a birthday celebration, there is an additional charge per person.
This is a great spot to enjoy authentic Thai cuisine. The service is warm and friendly, making you feel right at home. We ordered several dishes, and they were all delicious and packed with flavor. However, I did find it a bit on the pricey side, with dishes averaging between $15 and $20.
We decided to try the Pad See Ew, grilled chicken, soft shell crab, and crispy pork belly. The Pad See Ew stood out as one of the best I've tasted in Western Sydney—less tangy from tamarind and more creamy in flavor. The pork belly was wonderfully crispy and melted in my mouth; it was seasoned perfectly and cooked to perfection. The chicken, however, was a bit dry and somewhat bland, though still enjoyable. Green Peppercorn surprises diners with an extensive drinks menu that includes everything from cocktails to exotic thick shakes and a selection of wines, all of which did not disappoint. I would HIGHLY recommend their crème brûlée—it's unlike any I've had before. Instead of a traditional pudding-like consistency, it has a silky, mousse-like texture that is simply a must-try. My only criticism is the serving sizes; they were far too small!
Great service and flavoursome dishes. Highly recommend ducky curry if you love duck skin. Portions relatively small overall for ox tongue and Laos sausage. However, I really loved pandan sticky rice with coconut ice cream- dessert is always on point here! Dessert menu is limited compared to the one in Fairfield
My family love to eat here all the time. Food was really delicious and affordable. Great customer service. Must try everything on the menu. Especially CRISPY SNAPPER W/ GREEN MANGO SALAD, Banana flower salad, coconut sticky rice with mango or pandan sticky rice , soft shell crab, seafood crispy noodles and their curries.
