Zeppoli's - Blacksburg

I discovered this restaurant on social media, known for its high-quality Italian cuisine. There were six of us, and we each ordered a different dish. Everything was excellent. I had a salmon salad that was incredibly fresh, while the others enjoyed various Italian pasta dishes, including penne with marinara, salmon, and shells—all of them were delicious. The carafe of wine is a great deal; I recommend it over ordering by the glass. I would have loved to have a few drafts of beer, but I understand that it might not be practical for a small establishment. Overall, it's a lovely restaurant in Blacksburg.

The meal was a bit over the top, but our server was very nice!

The food was extremely hot in the center, indicating that it may have been microwaved. My wife could only eat half of her dish because it was overcooked. Although the server brought us water, she never offered us any wine from the menu. She seemed rushed and impatient with us throughout the meal, even skipping over dessert. Overall, it was one of the worst dining experiences I've ever had. To make matters worse, the server changed a $5 tip into a $63 tip, which ended up being more than the cost of the entire meal! I wouldn't be surprised if this place goes out of business in less than two years.

Had an 8:45 appt, but not until 9. they were out of two appetizers and the brot arrived only after eating. eating was good, but they were stressed at the end of the weekend.

The food was wonderful and plenty. I can't wait to eat my leftovers!
