Sake House Japanese - Blacksburg

I first visited Sake House at their location in Salem. When they moved to Blacksburg I was so happy! The family own spot has some wonderful dishes that honestly just make my happy to sit down and eat. If you are a fan of sushi definitely give it a go. If you're not, try the bento box lunches. The Chicken Katsu box is my favorite (pretty much bbq friend chicken).Love the food and especially the wonderful family that runs it!!!

I believe Sake House is probably the best sushi you can get in Blacksburg, but still not as good as some places back home so that's why there is 1 star deduction. I went once pre-COVID for $1 sushi, and no surprise, you were mostly paying for rice and little fish. But, I've started ordering off of their lunch menu (available M-F over lunch time), and I've found it to be very reasonable! Satisfies my craving, and the staff is also very nice.

Awesome maki rolls and super friendly and professional staff. Will definitely be coming back!

Decent sushi. Decent price. Not as good as Greens in my opinion though. Their seaweed salad could use a little work too.

Great sushi!! This is the second time I get sushi from Sake House. I'm very surprised that this place got ONLY 3.5 stars!! I will definitely order again.
