Poor Billy's Seafood - Blacksburg

A first time going to Poor Billy's but we will be back. We had 5 of us and we ordered 6 small plates and had a feast! Everything was great. My only complaint is that they were out of three items all of which we would have ordered. Thank goodness they have a good selection of food!

We were going to be ten minutes late for our OT reservation. We called. No one answered. When we got there, they said they had called us to let us know they were closing an hour early. They dialed the number incorrectly, so that we arrived to be told by staff that they were closed. At 8:57pm. Not OK.

This was my dad's first visit (he is from Richmond); although the rest of our party ordered sushi, he loves fried oysters which I recommend, and he said they were the best he had eaten in a long time ! CC

I can't think of a single thing that wasn't excellent! My evening began at the bar while I waited for my date. The bartenders were very friendly. Once we moved to our table, the outstanding experience continued. The food was delicious and I thought it was worth the price. I will definitely be returning and highly recommend this restaurant. As a food enthusiast, I can say that for once, I didn't leave feeling like I could have found a better meal somewhere else!

Poor Billy is a great choice for diners who are looking for a variety of options, including sushi and steak. The grilled salmon dish was particularly delicious and worth trying.
