Inside, there is... read more Ting Tongs, located at Layton Square near Talbot Road, has only been open for 2 weeks. The outdoor seating area has 2 tables for 2 people each. Inside, there is a window bench for 3 people, 2 tables for 2 diners, and a long table for 8. The interior decor is authentic, featuring a beautiful image of a Thai water market on one wall. The seating consists of small stools, giving the restaurant more of a cafe vibe for quick bites rather than long stays. However, the staff were helpful and friendly, and I never felt rushed. In addition to offering takeaway service, Ting Tongs has daily specials, lunch options, and regular menus. The food I tried was freshly prepared, piping hot, and delicious, cooked by Thai chefs. The portion size of my main dish (massaman curry) was so large that I had to take half of it home. The takeaway service is already gaining popularity, and I am excited to return for another visit.
