What Henry Cox dislikes about Café Number Five:
Reasonably priced and quiet little Chinese in a nice location. The chefs were not as Asian as I would like to cook my fave eastern cuisine but they were very passionate about it judging from the effing and jeffing I heard coming out of the kitchen. I had ribs wings and prawn toast, chicken and bacon parcel with mash followed by Eton mess muffin and ice cream. View all feedback.

What a fabulous caffe nice personal and did not wait long for our latte and paninis, which was absolutely delicious.
Nestled in Blackpool Town Centre, No. 5 Café is a delightful spot that offers a range of scrumptious meals perfect for breakfast, lunch, or a simple afternoon tea. The café boasts a warm ambiance with attentive, friendly staff who strive to create a pleasant dining experience. Guests rave about generous portions, quality ingredients, and reasonable prices, especially for their renowned scones and hearty fishcakes. While some find the service occasionally inconsistent, the café's charm and cleanliness make it an inviting choice for families and visitors seeking a cozy retreat from the bustling streets nearby. Highly recommended for a satisfying meal!.

Cracking little cafe... wonderful breakfast friendly staff highly recommend . Don't miss this if you're in the area...
Blackpool isn't great for food but there are a few exceptions. i've been coming to Number 5 for a few years and always call in for my breakfast. The place is clean, the vibe is chilled and relaxed and most importantly the food is decent. Nice friendly staff too, 5 stars from me.
Visited twice in 3 days and was great both times. Had coffee and cake the first time and lunch the second. On both occasions, food and service was really good. Everything is fresh and tasty. Best, frothy cappuccino. Highly recommended.
We had not had a breakfast in Number 5 for ages, it was excellent as always. Great service and a good meal too.
A decent first stop in Blackpool, having arrived by bus. Good location, on square with views from upstairs of Opera, Tower etc. We were lucky to get the window tables, for 7 of us. Had coffees etc – all ok just a tiny confusion over the hot chocolate marshmallows cream et – not a major issue. Friendly staff. Clean toilets

This charming café serves a delightful breakfast. We have visited many cafés, but this one is the best. The place is very clean, the portions are generous, and the sausages are of excellent quality. The food was served promptly, and the staff were polite. We will definitely be coming back.
I wasn't particularly impressed with this restaurant. The food and service were both average. When I ordered a pot of tea, it was served with whole milk and had a sweet taste. After requesting skimmed milk and a fresh pot of tea, they kindly provided it. There were only two side plates for the three of us, but the staff were pleasant and patient. As someone who runs a BnB and often recommends cafes to guests, I would rank this place about fourth on my list based on my personal experience. It wasn't terrible, but I rated it a 4 due to the full fat milk and average breakfast. However, it was a good value for the price.
Located in Blackpool Town Centre, the No. 5 café is a charming and cozy spot that is often missed by visitors. However, I must say that it is truly delightful. The menu offers a wide range of delicious dishes, the staff provide exceptional service, and the ambiance is perfect for families. This hidden gem is definitely worth a visit and I highly recommend it.
Someone told me this place does the best scones in Blackpool. Not only that, but you can get a scone with butter and jam and any hot drink for less than what the big boys charge just for a latte. Coffee is excellent, and they do take away too.
