Feedback
We visited this restaurant based on a recommendation for its home-cooked style of food. We arrived at 4:30 on a Saturday afternoon and despite there being three staff members present, no one acknowledged us at the counter. After finally being asked for our order, we inquired about vegetarian options and were informed that they had none available. Apparently, they only make a certain amount of food and once it runs out, they do not make any more. It is important to note that they do not make an effort to accommodate customers. Although I cannot provide feedback on the food itself, the service we received was unhelpful as the staff member seemed more interested in watching football on TV than attending to us.
We happened to stop by this restaurant by chance, and we're so glad we did. The family who owns this takeaway are incredibly friendly and genuine. The freshly made food was absolutely amazing - I've never had a curry that tasted so good. I also requested some small containers of chutneys, and they were unbelievably delicious, especially the onion chutney. Even though I live 45 minutes away, I'm definitely going to make the trip back to buy a few to freeze.
Family of three ordered the Masala jumbo platter. While waiting for the food to cook they gave us poppadoms and chutney the food is very flavoursome and tasty. Highly recommend to anyone that likes homemade tasty food.
Absolutely amazing, come here at least once a week and I’ve never been disappointed yet, one of the best Indian takeaways in Blackpool by far, the food is authentic Indian and cooked by proper Indians using proper ingredients and expensive meat cuts, one to try would-be the lamb on the bone curry or lamb chops you will not be disappointed, well worth a try
Eaten here many times, and when it was Spice Lounge. Food is always fresh, tasty and you know that it’s got that family recipe feel when you receive it. As good a curry that you will get in Manchester or Bradford (I have eaten many! . Highly recommended. Very generous portions for the price.
