The main issue was the poor service, particularly from the older lady who seemed unfriendly and unhelpful. I asked for my sauces to be kept separate, but the older lady ended up pouring gravy on one of my dishes. It's important to carefully review the menu before ordering, as the staff may not point out any special instructions. Additionally, I noticed that the steak pudding I ordered was not what I expected, and the handling of the food by the older lady was concerning. This restaurant may not be the most vegetarian-friendly option. Despite these issues, the business seems to be thriving, but I believe they could benefit from putting in more effort to provide better customer service. If you're looking for a good chippy with fresh fish, I would recommend visiting Yorkshire Fisheries in Blackpool instead.
