Contribute FeedbackCoral Island Café, once celebrated for its value and quality, is now facing significant criticism from patrons. Diners report inflated prices, with a simple meal costing over £17, and lingering complaints about greasy, unappetizing food lacking flavor. Service also appears to be an issue, with accounts of unfriendly staff and unprofessional interactions. Although some long-term visitors recall enjoyable meals and good variety, recent experiences suggest a decline in both food quality and customer service. For families looking for a pleasant dining experience, Coral Island Café may no longer meet expectations. A reevaluation may be necessary for a return to its former glory.
We enjoyed our visit to Coral Arcade and decided to have lunch at the café because children eat for free. My daughter was not feeling well and had a cold. When I asked for a glass of tap water for her, the man at the counter rudely snapped, "PLEASE." Later on, I heard another customer ask for tap water and again the same man shouted, "PLEASE." It was not a pleasant or respectful experience for the customers.
The food was bad and we discovered a foreign object in the curry. The service was awful, with a rude woman and a chef who was also unpleasant.
My wife is a top chef in a top-notch school down south , and she always says how nice the food is in the coral Island cafe. Food is lovely, nice price and nice variety, not just chips.
Lovely braised steak and mushrooms, chips, broccoli, cauliflower and carrots.Good value for money.Friendly staff.
I went to Coral Island Cafe because it has always been really nice, but today the burgers didn't taste good. Both the burgers and buns had a musty taste. I told the manager and she offered us other food, which we refused because I didn't want to eat there again. I asked for a refund for the burgers and was told that they don't do refunds unless there is something wrong with the food. I wouldn't recommend this place ever again.
