Food was lovely and customer service skills were excellent kept doing check backs it was busy with a great atmosphere , even when we left they acknowledged us and said have a great holiday...have travelled many times past the road when staying at the hotel and didn't know it was there , we will certainly be calling again and I will definitely mention it when I go back to work and anyone says they are staying in the area. What I call a proper pub keep doing what your doing .

We both had pies- steak and kidney, steak and blue cheese with proper pub cooked chips. All in all a good experience.

The food, particularly the S... read more I had an incredible experience at this pub with amazing staff! The owner remembered me from a few years back and greeted me warmly. The food, particularly the Sunday Carvery, was absolutely delicious with homemade dishes. The atmosphere was welcoming and friendly. I wish I could visit more often, but living in Berkshire makes it a bit of a hike!
