Abingdon Barbecue - Blackpool

Tasty, just tasty. We tried 6 different meats and some bread/pastry. The elder lady behind the counter who served us was patient and friendly, despite of our stumbling English and loads of hesitation . When asked for some apple sauce for the gammon (which was heavenly when oven-reheated, highly recommended she went away to fetch some but didn’t find any so she kindly offered a pot of sweet chili sauce instead (for free, and goes well with the gammon . Lost one drumstick to seagulls (not very wise to even try to dine at the beach ifo those pirates lol My partner even want to bag some deli meat to take back home despite the fact that he has gone there three times during our one-week stay in Blackpool, because nowhere alike can be found in the big expensive Manchester! Unfortunately they open late on Sunday and our train was early in morning Gonna miss ‘em!

Bread was very fresh and tasty, meat cooked perfectly and not dried out like at a commercial carvery, and the stuffing was gorgeous…almost like a sauce to the pint where you didn’t need a sauce with it! Was a very tasty for an afternoon snacky-snack! Will definitely recommend to all of our friends who visit! x x x

Lovely hot, fresh food . There are many things to choose from . I'm regular as it's so good fast service staff are lovely

The food is spot on. HOWEVER if you have the displeasure of being served by the one with a ponytail in a cap (as mentioned in an earlier review) then you will NEVER go in there again regardless of how good the food is. Condescending, rude, talks right through you. It's her way or the highway. Highway it is then.

Had a breakfast sub that was bacon, tomatoes and sausages and it was amazing. We'll worth the price, will deffo visit again next time I'm in Blackpool!
