Cool, young vibe in the heart of blackheath. Great american style food and craft beer make this place a friendly stop-in for a meal and a drink. Worth the visit for sure! View all feedback.
What Eldred Cole doesn't like about Blackheath Bistro:
Another disappointing stop on my Blackheath food tour. Shockingly, it seemed this place was the only option if you aren’t looking for fine dining but also aren’t keen to eat fast food.I guess no competition provides no reason not to be entirely mediocre. The food was SO overpriced for what it was. We got three of the “bar food” side dishes to share at $15 each. They were each small and mildly to extremely disappointin... View all feedback.
We loved it! The drinks were perfect, live music great! We ordered the sweet potatoes chips sides as a starter and the portion was huge and price way perfect. We ended up sharing the chips and two pints and were full. The sweet potatoes chips were crispy and we'll seasoned, best sweet potatoes chips we've ever had.The hostess, the bartender, the waiter, everyone we came across was really nice and welcoming. We booked another dinner for tomorrow night on our way out. We just really enjoyed our evening.Thank you!
Food great. Good sized portions. Friendly helpful staff.
Tell you what, if you have a bad experience here, with either the food or the waiter, you would've been better off playing the lotto and winning.Do yourself a favour, get the chicken wings entree with the chipotle mayo and spicy sauce on the side, and the pork belly burger. Chefs kiss, and kisses to the chef and their team.Definitely coming back from Melbourne.
Delicious food and decent cocktails together with a friendly and accommodating service.
The food is incredible!! We got the chicken wings (with spicy, delicious dipping sauce), pork belly, summer salad, risotto and Christmas ice cream and all were amazing. The place was pretty full (a Saturday night) and we didn’t book beforehand but they happily fit us in on the lounge which was lovely and had blankets since it was a cold night. If you want a decent meal in Blackheath, this is the place to go
