Aunt Billies - Blackburn

I went to this restaurant for the first time yesterday with a group of women. The food was beautifully presented and very artistic. However, we were disappointed with the falafels as they were extremely dry and hard to cut and eat. We mentioned this to the waitress, who was helpful and brought out tahini and yogurt to put on top, but the falafels were still overcooked. The pancakes and other dishes on our table looked delicious. My client had a soy chai latte, which she said was the best she's ever had.

I absolutely adore this restaurant! Their mushroom ragu with poached egg is hands down the best breakfast I've ever had. I had the pleasure of taking my husband here today, as he had recommended it to me after passing by numerous times. He was absolutely right! I can't wait to come back and try their lunch menu.

I picked up some pastries this morning and they were amazing. The coffee was also on point. It's so nice to have found a local cafe with such delicious food. I can't wait to go back. 10/10!
