As a single business traveler I often find it difficult if not a little intimidating to go to restaurants alone resulting in many nights of room service and two minute noodles. <br/ <br/ But after visiting Amor Mexico on a particularly lonely night, I am very happy to report that the warm and welcoming staff (not to mention the yummy food and cosy atmosphere prompted a return visit a week later. <br/ <br/ And although the staff were different, the way they made me feel genuinely welcome and better still, appreciated for my choice to dine with them, was exactly the same as the first time. <br/ <br/ The restaurant was quite busy the first night and apart from the volume of the two large tables celebrating birthdays (they weren't that loud I'm just a grumpy old man! the service was equally as wonderful as that of the second occasion when there were only 4 or 5 tables of two dining. <br/ <br/ I ordered different drinks and meals each time and everything was delicious and reasonably generous in size adding good value for money to the list of positives of this place. <br/ <br/ If you or you and your friends/family are ever in Forest Hill or within 20kms of Forest Hill and feel like some yummy Mexican and great hospitality, drop in to Amor Mexico. <br/ <br/ PS. I talked with the owner on my second visit and was informed it has been a Mexican restaurant for 30 years and hasn't changed hands on the last 15 which I guess is testimony to my very positive review.

Offers the best Mexican food selection; equipped with genuine, pleasing and accommodating staff at any time. The ambience was very warm. I also get to use my Liven App here and I got my $50 rebate. My friends and I are now patrons

Went here for the first time tonight.What a great little 'local '. Service was fantastic, especially Amy and the food was......fajitas seriously the best I 've had. Soooo good.Funky flautas beef was awesome, chicken not so much.Give it a try, you won 't be disappointed.

This Mex restaurant is a local fave for my friends and family. The staff are awesome and so is the food. Prices are reasonable and the service is quick... The only thing I would change would be to play some Mexican music in the background :
