I’ve discovered Katsu breaded chicken and coconut rice . It’s very good, so good I think I’ve had it every time I’ve visited a Spoons since last September and I won’t be stopping anytime soon lol View all feedback.

Visited here today on a stop off on the way to Ewood Park. Absolutely stunning building both inside and out but my goodness the staff are a miserable lot. The young girls on shift today looked bored and miserable and were very off hand almost...bordering on rude when spoken to. Drinks and food ordered via the app which were both served wrongly with not a word said just tray plonked on table with drinks no interaction... View all feedback.
I went into Wetherspoons looking to have some drinks with some friends and I went to order some drinks before I was stopped by the staff member because I had been told I wasn’t allowed. I also had smart remarks made towards me and my friends when we were sat down and it was really rude. Other than that other people were nice.
Just been here and the service was awful, had my hand up for 10mins and nobody came to serve me.. took 40mins to bring our drinks over and an hour for food and my daughter had paper inside her meal and couldn’t eat the rest...
I visit the old chapel quite regularly, it is a remarkable building and the food and drink are always spot on. The place itself is always clean and the staff are always friendly. However, recently myself and others who visit with me have recieved some hostile customer service from a girl whos name begins cl I wont disclose her name publicly. I think management need to have a word about her attitude as other people in the pub and at the bar have commented on it too. That aside, we would definitely recommend this Wetherspoons to anybody, it is easily the best in Lancashire.
I do love coming to the Chapel, but the food can be a bit hit and miss. My partner says he usually sticks with the steak as every time he orders something else it always tastes like they're cooked on the same grill(he had the all day breakfast this visit, bacon didn't taste right)The order I want has often been out of stock, which is a pain when my partner goes downstairs to order and this happens, as I then have no idea what I'll be eating instead as he has to choose something else for me!On the plus side, the staff are friendly enough and its usually a quick turnaround. And I love the building itself and the spaces between tables make it feel less crowded than some pubs.
Visited the Old Chapel on a Saturday evening and can recommend. Great building, nicely renovated and usual Wetherspoons value. Praise must go to the staff who were friendly and very efficient. Two minutes from railway station and close to Library Theatre.
