the postorden like most Wetherspoons portfolio looks the business from outside, but unfortunately fails when they get in. in the rule there are beautiful decoration and architecture in their operated, but this feels more like a social club and lacks the spoons feeling. it would have got 2 stars if I had it about it, but I have 5 stars pure on the quality of the food and the service that the staff provided. the food a... What sleep007 doesn't like about The Postal Order:
Bit of a grubby Wetherspoons needing some TLC and money spent on it. Usual good offers but that’s about it. Fairly surly unfriendly staff to add to the experience!! View all feedback.
Busy, struggled to find a table, spoke to staff who sorted out a table straight away. Thought the food would take ages, waited 15 mins. Great food, good portion size. Table cleared quickly. Friendly staff.
Shady potions of beans or even food, lady on other tables expressed her views of also shady potions, manager kept stareing over at are table, bread no toast
The drinks were inexpensive, and the staff who served us were friendly with no issues. However, the food was only lukewarm, but we didn't mention it. We also observed many loudly intoxicated individuals, some of whom appeared to be of lower socioeconomic status. Despite these factors, we would definitely return to the restaurant.
Despite the area it was a pretty decent pub, service was good and plenty of tables available and food came out in good time and was what you expect. I would certainly go there again and better than some I have been too lately. Atmosphere was fine as well.
