What Currycritique doesn't like about Taste Of India:
Since chef Ebby left this place has gone downhill. Food is tasty but as previous reviews say the owner is so stingy with portions of meat or chicken. He charges 7 to 8 pounds a dish . You would be lucky to find 100g of meat or chicken.... Chicken breasts in Blackburn costs £4 a kilo... imagine his profit margins ...Mr Mohammed sharif if your reading this increase meat/chicken to at least 250g ....weigh it if you have... The restaurant is on the smaller side, but don't be deterred by the exterior and interior, as it could use a little updating! We were seated upstairs and ordered two platters priced at £29 each. Each platter included 4 kebabs, 4 chicken wings, 4 boneless chicken pieces, chips, lamb curry, chicken curry, and naans. The platters also came with poppadoms and various sauces.
