Costa Coffee - Blackburn with Darwen

Two girls, one looking very young, were serving at both the drive-through and inside counter. We waited for 20 minutes at the counter, and it seemed like having one more staff member would have made a lot of customers happier, rather than frustrated.

The M65 Costa is excellent. The staff are extremely friendly, which was a lifesaver for us during lockdown since it was the only café open. The place is immaculately clean. I would highly recommend it to anyone.

After traveling for a long time, I stopped for a quick meal and coffee break. I was looking to order a toastie, but was rudely informed by a staff member that it was not available because the ovens had been turned off since the restaurant closes at 6pm. It was only 5:20pm, so I was quite surprised. It would be helpful for the restaurant to clearly state this policy on their opening times displayed at the entrance.

Always good service. Sadly none of favourite slated caramel muffins today but I managed a crispy choclate slice instead. Always clean and tidy.

This is my second visit to a Costa within a few hours Blackburn with Darwen Services on M65. I ordered my usual drink, an I.F.W. the assistant didn't bother with the head, see attached pic. Tasted appalling.
