By far the best ones in the region... read more Visit here virtually every week despite a twenty minute journey each way, rarely go anywhere else for our fish and chips now. By far the best ones in the region from my experience. Staff are always extremely friendly and the service comes with a guaranteed smile, whether eating in or using the takeaway. Chips are excellent and the fish (of which there is a good selection including cod, haddock, plaice and lemon sole) is always cooked fresh and to perfection, in a delightfully crunchy batter. Big thumbs up for the menu being almost entirely gluten free too.

It is likely the best place to get fish and chips in Leicestershire, served in a charming building by attentive staff. The fish and chip meal is reasonably priced and there is also a great variety of beers available. A visit to this restaurant is highly recommended, and we will definitely be returning in the future.

We are regulars at this fantastic establishment and the fact that they offer gluten and dairy free options with such confidence sets them apart. The fish is always fresh and top quality, even better than what we've had by the sea. Their onion rings are perfectly battered and the staff is attentive and professional. Carly is a standout employee, and it is evident that the owners value both their staff and customers. Their exceptional customer service could serve as an example for others. I highly recommend giving this world-class fish and chip shop a try - you won't be able to stop thinking about it!
