Had a meal there tonight. Really disappointed. Last time I was there, it was nice, But this visit was only just ok. Non of the dishes we ordered had vegetables in them. Even beef bamboo and water chestnuts, only had two pieces of bamboo and three pieces of water chestnuts, main ingredient was onions. The other two dishes only had onions in them. Ok if that’s the only vegetable you like. So we will not be going there again.

First time visit since Covid. Family occasion celebrating multiple birthdays on a Saturday evening. Chose the set £18 a head menu. Three courses, with mixed starters, crispy duck mixed mains. Absolutely delicious. Quality taste was great. Quantity was a challenge. We almost managed to clear all the plates. Everyone in the party of similar opinion fantastic. Service from the bar, waitress chef was awesome. Cannot recommend enough. Thank you.

Picked a Chinese takeaway up from here at the weekend I have been a regular customer for year’s the last Chinese takeaway I had was a just average this time very poor just not good enough I love the pub for a beer as the landlord and team always so friendly but o dear the Chinese side as just gone downhill unfortunately unless I see lots of good reviews again I will give it amiss for food and just call in for a drink a excellent selection of beers and wine always on offer .

Ordered via just eat app, firstly nearly 45 minutes late. When food came the beef chow mien looked very different to anywhere else, my partner tasted it and was shocked to find out that it tasted like human urine. Then between 6 of us, all agreed that it tastes and smelt like human urine. Me as a heavily pregnant women is very concerned now for not only my health but my unborn child’s. We have reported this to Leicestershire country council. Do not eat here!
