I work away a lot in and out of the country. But the red lion is a welcome home every time. It is always a warm and friendly environment. The service is beyond reproach, always happy. Beautiful village pub. great food. brilliant atmosphere. good variety of events quizzen, mord mysterious nights, music evenings etc.
Great 1970s disco in aid of Air Ambulance. Recommend food and real ale. Great village pub.
My friends come here for lunch a couple of times a week So while I was visiting I tagged along. What a revelation. The home cooked menu is extensive , delicious and I was spoilt for choice and the puddings .!!!!! how can you choose between all your favourites on one menu Only a word to the wise It gets busy at lunchtime so get there early but you are not rushed in any way. Thank you red lion Definitely recommend this hidden gem. Lovely ambience and excellent staff.Am already booked in for 2 more lunches
Great pub, friendly staff and local. eating is amazing, proper pub-grub! also fantastic for functions, had my daughter baptism party here and eating was perfect!
Good quality village pub great food and a beautiful pint.
