Lucky's - Bismarck

⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐ I had an amazing experience! The bartender was fantastic, and the service was top-notch. I really appreciated the great atmosphere, especially while watching NDSU football games—it's the best place in the city for that! It's one of the few bars where my family and friends love to hang out. I absolutely adore it! The Polar Package next door also deserves 5 stars for many of the same reasons—it has the best staff in both places! This is my favorite place to go, and honestly, it’s pretty much the only bar I visit. The staff is incredible, and I've met some of the best people here!

I was disappointed during my visit. I wanted to enjoy a beer and play the pull tabs machines, but the bartender asked for both my partner's and my IDs. We provided them, but my partner had a tribal ID from the MHA Nation, which is federally recognized, and he was denied service and not allowed to play the pull tabs. I researched the laws in North Dakota regarding acceptable forms of ID, and I even asked the bartender if this policy applied to all bars in Bismarck, to which he replied that it did. I’m uncertain if there is a bias against Native Americans in this situation, but that was my experience on the night of June 14, 2022, at 11:30 PM. If anyone knows where I can find official information on this, I would appreciate your guidance. Thank you.

This place is ridiculous... a tall beer costs $6.50, while a mixed drink is $4.50. I don’t mind spending money on a drink, but I expect more alcohol in my Bacardi!

I had the worst customer service experience I’ve ever encountered. I ordered online and specifically requested cheese-only pizza rolls, not realizing that special orders weren’t allowed for these items.
