The Gemündner Hütte is a popular excursion destination located below the Kreuzberg, on a smaller hill with magnificent views of the Rhön. The ascent is a bit difficult, depending on the starting point. From Kreuzberg you can walk wonderfully downhill. The gastronomy offer is good, there are cold and hot drinks and bread-timeschmankerl.
