During our time in Birr, we dined at this restaurant twice without any problems. The service was good, the food was decent, and the portion sizes were enjoyable. We had a pleasant dining experience overall. View all feedback.
Food lukewarm. chips overcooked. Vol au vents soggy. no wine list. This is a hotel? draught every time door opened. Wine reasonable.
Mary's veg curry was the finest but my lamb roast was very fatty and the plain veg felt reheated. apple pie and custard made up for it though.
Good food. Very reasonable price. The portions were generous. Great friendly service. Highly recommended.
As always the food is excellent and the staff are professional and very accommodating. The portions are always a good size and the service is prompt.
We visited Birr in March for a weekend. On the Friday night we ate at the coachouse (Doolys) . There is a great menu with something to suit everyone and great service. We enjoyed it so much we returned on the Saturday evening too.
