Really scenic park. Horses in the field which was lovely. Visitors centre was open when I visited, it does state the times it's open, so would be worth checking. Would have been better if the visitors centre sold refreshments. But overall, a lovely park. View all feedback.
What Wendy O doesn't like about Woodgate Valley Country Park:
The countryside can't be faulted, the play area is good, but the visitors centre is closed what a waste the farm is closed with no animals, just the horses from the stables out. This site is missing g out on such alot if footfall because if that, but still worth the lovely walks. Does have picnic tables available. View all feedback.

Woodgate Valley Country Park is a wonderful place to visit for a peaceful escape from the busy city. It's a safe and family-friendly destination with ample space for various activities like walking, running, cycling, and bird-watching. The park boasts stunning landscapes, including woodlands, meadows, and streams, which make it an ideal spot for nature lovers. Although the park is well-maintained, I couldn't give it five stars because I noticed some of the trees need better care and pruning. It would be great if the Birmingham City Council could be more disciplined in this aspect. However, this minor issue doesn't detract from the overall beauty and serenity of the park. Overall, Woodgate Valley Country Park is an excellent place to visit with family and friends, and I highly recommend it. The park's natural beauty and safety make it a great destination for anyone looking to work out in nature, and I will definitely be returning soon.
It's OK if you go take your litter home do not dump it in the woods , as it can harm animals and the environment, so much litter of late
The whole family loves this place. Including our dog Milo. There is always plenty of parking, and the Miles of Countryside is amazing. We have had lots of long walks here, and it never gets boring. Great place.
Lovely little place however the farm is a little run down. Still a great place to go, lovely short walks, picnic area and park and then the very small farm part is only £1.50 per adult entry. Great to go if your local or staying around a while however we could have chosen better places to spend our day considering we live 3 hours away.
