Went on a Monday and were the only diners bar plus two other tables Yet they were out of one their special and the house wine We then had to choose others Service variable but food was good Would recommend though they need to ensure that when quiet they are as good as when busy View all feedback.
What User doesn't like about Tom's Kitchen Birmingham:
Despite having reserved a table the day before, the restaurant was actually closed for business and had been for a month. It felt like a complete waste of time, especially since we traveled 100 miles for a special birthday celebration, although we did end up with a surprise! View all feedback.
The food quality wasn't great. Ordered a £28 steak and the quality was poor.
Staff at Tom's Kitchen were excellent. They kept the kitchen open after calling to confirm we were still coming, as we got caught in Traffic and arrived at 3pm. Food wad fab and service efficient and attentive.
Nice place for brunch, although the location lacked ambiance as there wasn't much footfall in the shopping centre. I imagine once the centre has more retail outlets leading to more casual footfall, the restaurant will benefit from more of an atmosphere. That being said its a nice relaxing place to stop after serious shopping
Shocking service via staff apart from manager, lady threw the chips at us by error, a few waiters came over to say are we ready when we had a problem with the booking as they said we couldn’t have what we booked for even though it allowed me to book it on this site and they supposedly said offer not available weekends
The lady that greeted us and showed us to our table was the most unfriendly, moody and quite frankly rude person I’ve come across at a restaurant in a long time. I felt like telling her to forget it and walking out. Luckily all the other staff were fantastic but she’s put me off ever coming again.
