Compared to pre refurb, I love the new decor and furnishings. The layout is great and much more spacious. Windows still don’t close in the downstairs ladies, so potentially still the coldest toilets in Brum. Raised with the manager and he has said he would remedy. New items in the menu and the same friendly staff. View all feedback.

Excellent service by Anthony. Very kind, attentive and helpful. Lovely warm atmosphere. Anthony ensured we had drinks throughout the night and good food
We love The Old Royal for a lunchtime catchup. The lunch meal deal is great value and friendly staff
Really nice pub. Worth a visit for the amazing building alone. Service is always spot-on as well.
£3 Madri is no longer on but still only £4. Haven't been in for months but barman still remembered my drink. Always gives a good welcome.
Fantastic city pub and very welcoming staff highly recommended!
