The Merrymaid Inn - Birmingham

I recently visited the Merry Maid for the first time in a while. I stopped by for a snack and a casual beer. I was pleasantly surprised by the food, which was fresh, flavorful, and delicious. The staff and owners were friendly and welcoming, and there was a great local vibe with many regulars present. I even had fun playing a game of pool. I would definitely recommend a visit, even if just for takeout.

We booked a table in the back. You had to go to the bar to buy drinks. Nice fish pakora. Decent curries. When the bill came it was just an amount on a small piece of paper e.g. £78. No itemisation. Place is tired and very basic and not cheap

Fantastic fresh food at a great price. Don't order too much, the portions are huge. Would definitely go back.

Had a great indian meal with friends at the Merrymaid Bar and Grill. The food was excellent, especially the sharing platter and saag. I have to say the owners are a delightful and very welcoming couple which added to the evening by making it a special visit for us. The staff equally are at your service throughout the evening. I, now feel that if I have a desire for indian cusine, this is where I will be definitely going again.
