Contribute FeedbackMoor Hall has garnered mixed reviews, reflecting both its potential and areas needing improvement. While the restaurant excels in providing delicious meals and an inviting atmosphere, some patrons have experienced challenges with service and reservations. The three-course meals offer great value, especially during special occasions like afternoon tea, which shines with attentive staff and mouthwatering treats. Despite isolated incidents of slow service and staff confusion, many guests appreciate the friendliness and professionalism of specific team members. Overall, while Moor Hall shows promise, visitors may want to cautiously consider their dining experience, especially when using vouchers.
Had a lovely twilight spa and my husband and son joined me for dinner in the lounge afterwards Where we were looked after by Evie…… She was very attentive friendly and professional
We recently had one of the best afternoon teas at Moor Hall! From the warm welcome and excellent service from our waitress Debbie, to the amazing sandwiches, scones that just melted in our mouths, and delicious cakes and pastries that were to die for! The chefs and Debbie were very accommodating and went out of their way to ensure that everything was perfect, even with a special dietary request. We highly recommend Moor Hall for their afternoon tea and can't wait to come back and try their brunch menu!
My daughter gifted us a dinner voucher for two at the country kitchen from Gift Voucher Brilliance. I called to make a reservation following the automated instructions, but gave up after 29 minutes. I called back and chose the front desk option, and after another 15 minutes, my reservation was confirmed for 6:15. Upon arrival, the restaurant was quiet with limited staff - one waitress and her female manager. The meal was delicious, but the restaurant remained quiet. When it came time to pay, the waitress seemed confused when I offered the voucher details for verification. She brought over her male manager who handled the payment in a dismissive manner without any explanation or acknowledgment. This made me feel uncomfortable in front of other guests. The voucher was for the full amount of £44, so no discount was involved. Despite the pleasant meal, I would caution anyone purchasing these vouchers as the staff may not handle them properly. I paid for our drinks, tipped the waitress, but likely won't return. While the three-course meal was nice at £22, I heard it will soon be increasing to £27.

My 82-year-old mother, visiting from Australia, and I stayed at the hotel and had dinner in the Bar and Terrace room. The food was excellent and the service was exceptional, thanks to Marian who made my mother feel special and well cared for. Thank you Marjan for taking such good care of us!
