We have been a long time customer of this restaurant but we noticed that they have reduced servings sizes significantly hence 3 stars. Also with thinner kobedeh I don't think it tastes as good as it used to be. Don't think we'll go there this frequently now View all feedback.

read moreShiraz Restaurant, now known as Kolbeh, offers a mix of hits and misses. While the chicken and kabab were delicious, the vegetarian gheimeh was overcooked. The metal smell of the copper vessels was off-putting, and the sad music was a mood killer. Service was decent, but improvements can be made. Despite some negative experiences, loyal customers appreciate the Persian roots, quality ingredients, and generous portions. The mixed platter and Shiraz mix kebab are crowd favorites. The complimentary dessert and friendly staff add to the overall positive dining experience. Overall, a recommended spot for authentic Persian cuisine in Birmingham.
Absolutely wonderful eating and atmosphere. the place is always so packed, either book or get there early to avoid disappointment!
