Not a warm welcome, no record of our online booking and very off hand when we arrived. Slow to serve us and quite blunt. incorrect starter arrived.chicken was cooked to perfection and chicken tikka starters were fantastic with a beautiful side salad. First visit today, 14/1/23, after a recommendation from a family member. Full tracks. Great food, friendly staff and cheap. Can't blame this restaurant. We will go to the restaurant and we will recommend it. You want a good, well-priced curry....then the sharbar is to go to the place.
Visited the Shabar Indian restaurant as a group of 8 for a curry after visiting the NEC Motorcycle Live show. It is only 3 miles from the NEC so easy and quick to get to and as it was 5:30 pm it was fairly quiet. Very welcoming and friendly service, lovely food and a complimentary Baileys drink. We've done this annually 3 times now and never been disappointed with food or sevice ... definitely recommended
First time at this restaurant and won't be the last. The Naga was ferociously hot but full of flavour . Exactly how I like it
