I visited with my mum and sister, and the food was delicious—definitely worth the price. The staff were courteous, and the atmosphere was warm and inviting, perfect for both a night out and family gatherings. The apple crumble was divine; when I asked for extra custard, they happily obliged. We opted for the priciest boil, which included two lobster tails and larger shrimp. We also enjoyed cocktails and dessert, so the cost per person was on the higher side, but you can still have a great meal for under £20 each by choosing the more affordable platters, which offer the same quality with slightly smaller shrimp that are still generously sized. There’s something to suit every budget. The restroom was acceptable but could use better upkeep. I’m already planning to return with my husband and kids, who loved the leftovers we brought home. The chicken starters lacked flavor, but overall the food was good. The spice level was mild, and both the rice and chips were really enjoyable. One thing I found odd was having to pay upfront. Also, my friends and I came without a reservation (our fault for forgetting), and even though there were quite a few empty seats, the staff said they were fully booked. Since we had traveled a long way, they did give us a table, but it didn’t make sense to say they were fully booked if there were still many tables available. The customer service could definitely be improved!
