There were only 3 ot... read more I was disappointed with my experience at this restaurant. I had booked a table for 5 at 7pm, but the staff did not acknowledge our arrival. There were only 3 other people in the restaurant. Two of our meals were served cold and the staff were not very friendly. The old staff used to be funny and welcoming. The atmosphere was lacking and we usually spend a few hours there, but this time we left before 9.30. I don't think we will be returning anytime soon.

Staff didnt seem as attentive this... read more I visited before lockdown, rated as excellent then. Didnt give it such a high rating this time, as a few things let it down. Staff didnt seem as attentive this time, had to wait a while if needed to speak to staff, only saw 1 man working in there. They had a decent offer on £11.95 for poppadom, starter, main and either chips, rice or naan and a coffee. Myself and friend didnt drink coffee, so we asked if we could have another drink, but couldn't. Think they should offer an alternative, like a soft drink. We didn't realise it was cash only. There was a sign at the top end of the restaurant, where you go if collecting a take away, but when dining in you wouldnt see it, so should have made sure to tell customers, so had to go to the cashpoint. I noticed drinks had gone up. In the drinks menu, they had been crossed out with marker and new price was written over. Pepsi was now £2.95. That would be fine if a pint glass, but was a tiny glass, less than a can amount. When I went before I had more than that. You can take your own drinks, and last time I went we took our own soft drinks. The tiny glass of pepsi we got, after a couple of mouthfuls it was empty and we were only on starters. So we asked if we could bring our own soft drinks, as Sainsburys is next door, so would have went there, but was told only alcohol now. Weren't going to spend another £3 on a tiny soft drink, so we both went without. I get due to lockdown may need to put things up, but dont think you should get less than before. Also with the offer says any main. My friend ordered a vegetable biryani to be told it wasnt in the offer. Maybe should state whats not included, to make it clear.

Great prices, did have an offer on as well, with stater, main, side, etc. Can take your own drinks, not just alcohol. Only thing was when he got there, there was a sign saying cash only. Luckily there is a cash point round the corner.
