Such a rare gem there are in brum not many halal Korean choices that one takes as the best authentic Korean restaurant. the staff is incredibly welcoming and tends to their needs, eating was delicious and filled with taste. please give this an attempt, they will not be disappointed.

AMAZING AMAZING AMAZING!! The owners were so kind, very welcoming, and they read through the menu with us! And recommended lovely dishes! Plus everything is halal!! No one ever believes them. But everything is all halal and no alcohol! The food was so tasty! Proper homemade Korean Food! Very homely the owners took the time to speak to us and we had such nice conversations!!. Don’t be fooled by the exterior or location, the food is worth it; and the people who own the place are so lovely and chatty making the experience even nicer! We are definitely going back! 감사 해요!!!

I should mention that there's currently some drama surrounding the owner, as another guy who runs a Japanese restaurant called Waterss has been trying to undermine Mr. Slim by claiming her food isn’t authentic. It's disappointing to see such shady behavior. Overall, I highly recommend this place!

I absolutely adore this place! It’s all about love here! This fantastic family-run restaurant serves food made with heart. I will definitely return! We tried the fried chicken (Slim Special), and it was outstanding. We also had toppoki, seafood jeon, kimchi, bibimbap, and dubab (both with beef bulgogi). To drink, we enjoyed bong bong (freshly squeezed juice). Everything was amazing!
