Contribute FeedbackDespite previous visits that left much to be desired, a recent dining experience at the restaurant proved disappointing. Service was slow, food quality lackluster, and decor worn. With a bill totaling about £70, the overall experience did not justify the cost. Despite past enjoyment, the restaurant's decline in quality may deter future visits. On the contrary, exceptional service from a staff member named Richard, who went above and beyond to accommodate a disabled guest, left a positive impression. This act of compassion deserves recognition and may prompt further reservations.
We are probably visiting here 4-6 times a year, but the last visits have not found on our expectation. a family of 4 consisted of 1 star, 1 j20 and 2 bottles of koks. 3 main dishes and 1 child meal. also 1 pudding and 3 coffee/hoe chocolate. total bill £70ish. I think that's a little over price, but that's my opinion, based on visiting in other places. the waitress was the slowest I have ever experienced, the food quality was bad, the overall decoration is not so old, but already seems worn and dated. I could go on, but that would not be fair as my opinion is now based on our last visit and I think this place is going downhill. such a shame, but we probably won't visit again.
All the workers were helpful as my wife disabled is a name comes to think is richard who is the table for easy access to my wife sorted I will certainly book again
I would like to thank the obligor and zoe for the fact that my wife and I, when we visited, were kindly, since I was very annoyed because of a relative cancer death, that they are credited to their company and that there should be a very clear consideration.
We would like to thank the employee who served us to be helpful and to be able to do it.
Seating was poor,table we had was hemmed in by other tables,server was initially hovering then busy,had to reconfirm order as area very noisy,food arrived after fairly lengthy wait and steak ordered was overdone,spoke to server who was apologies but then said would take about 10 mins to replace,meaning that by time her meal was served we had nearly completed ours,we also requested that heating be lowered,told it was due to the fact we where seated directly below unit...Two of us also ordered a sweet,both requested ice cream to feature on our sweet,was most disappointed that this was from a mister sort type machine,had this been pointed out we would have chosen a different sweet..Thing I must also comment on is that the staff made a big show when presenting people with a celebration cake,finally we have friends staying at hotel chain alongside this venue in the near future and we will be either dining at the Indian next door,or just going a mile down the road to the Bell,whose prices are not that much higher than yours and are reported to be a more convivial atmosphere.I do not like to complain about service as a rule but feel so upset that on this occasion i feel I have no other option Regards
