Don’t expect anything fancy. Chung Ying Garden’s regulars presumably head there because of the menu, rather than the decor, which is a bit plain and harsh. The music is more interesting – Chinese pop songs play in the background, while on our visit the restaurant was full of Chinese people as well, always a good sign pointing to authenticity. What Rowena Matthews doesn't like about Chung Ying Garden:
had a decent meal with good service. eating seemed good to see and tasted good. also the presentation of food was very basic. I can't say with confidence, but I think it was because of this meal that I liked an annoyed for a few days. we ordered approx. 6 dishes under 6 people and their servings were just enough. her huh seemed like it was precooked and then just dumped in what sauce/rice/nudels/Starter we ordered. t... We were up from London for the day decided to try Chung ying garden for some dim sum. Shanghai dumplings, chickens feet in black bean sauce, cheng fun, char Sui buns all in order. Bad service but that isn't unusual for a Chinese restaurant. All in all a good find
Had a decent meal with good service. Food seemed alright to look at and tasted well. The presentation of the food was very basic as well. I can't say with confidence but I think it was because of this meal that I had an upset stomach for a few days. We ordered about dishes among people and their servings were just about enough. Their chicken seemed like it was pre cooked and then just dumped into whatever sauce/rice/noodles/starter that we ordered. Ambiance is good though if you like the taste of the food.

My partner and I were visiting London for the day and decided to give Chung Ying Garden a try for some dim sum. We ordered shanghai dumplings, chicken feet in black bean sauce, cheng fun, and char sui buns. The service was lacking, but this is typically expected at a Chinese restaurant. Overall, the food was good.
The dining experience is excellent, and the service is top-notch. While it can get pretty crowded at times, the quality of the service and food never wavers.
