What Anton Schön doesn't like about Cedar's Lebanese:
Previously, to get this little caffe all the time for Arab breakfast, and we thought it was the same. they have changed the decoration that is much better. Unfortunately the staff was cold, tables were sticky and eating was a disappointment. I hope this will improve because I am constantly in this opposite and enjoy the Arab breakfast I was used to. Really good value, wonderful taste, fantastic service. Can't recommend these guys enough. Also, the baklava is AMAZING!
Wonderful little gem hidden away that is run by a friendly and hospitable family. The food is fresh, healthy and delicious. There are many dishes of the day that you can mix and match for £5 per box...these are freshly cooked curries and stews with...a variety of different meats and/or vegetables. The filled pastries are exceptional along with the hummus and dips available. We also ordered some chicken shwarma and lamb kofte wraps which are packed to the brim with meat, an array of veg and delightful sauces. Finally there are great vegetarian and vegan options available too. This is all for an extremely reasonable price with generous portions. Does not taste like restaurant food, more like authentic Lebanese food lovingly cooked by the family. Highly recommended.
Tucked in the back streets of Balsal Heath, a real treat that accommodates vegans, veggies and carnivores alike. Great authentic flavours and friendly family staff.
Friendly and healthy and delicious. it is a great place to get a good meal for not much. Options for vegetarian ok to
If they like to eat authentic quality, then this is the place to pamper their taste buds in. homemade style Lebanese eating that is delicious and heavenly, as it means to be. Today I tried for the first time, and I am astonished how good quality eat. this little restaurant served. the place is small for larger groups, but that doesn't bother me at all. I prefer the quality over bling bling. the service is also friendly, the youngs present them freshly prepared eating and will chat with them when they are friendly person: I ordered lamb shawarma, warq enab and traditional zaatar. I was in the sky after the first bit of the lamb shawarma. that is called shawarma. the Warq-Enab was amazing delicous and the zaatar, just wow. the quality Lebanese food is nostalgic for me, it brings me back to my childhood time when I was happy enough to live in a culture full of healthy and authentic homemade food. almost 32 years later I was taken back into my childhood after I tried this quality food from cedar Lebanese food restaurant. recommend to anyone who likes quality food. I will try more eating from this place and will upload more delicious food pictures to discolor their taste buds and they will go and try this ingenious food.
