Great service. May I add the staff went above and beyond to make sure we was satisfied with our food. Offered free dessert as waited awhile for garlic bread and starters. View all feedback.
What Jonathan Martin doesn't like about Carluccio's Birmingham, Grand Central:
I recently visited this restaurant for dessert. The cannoli was average, not overly impressive but slightly better than pre-made ones from Italian food stalls. I tried the BOSCO INCANTATO dessert, which was mushroom-inspired. It looked interesting, but the strawberries listed on the menu had gone bad and were still served. The restaurant was clean, and the deli section was well-maintained. However, I would rate it a... View all feedback.
I had the pleasure of visiting here this morning after my sister recommended it and I was certainly not disappointed! we were advised by a waitress to choose a table and someone would be in short with us. our server, senior, was amazing, its customer service capabilities were second on none! he took his time with us and explained the breakfast and options and did not rush us at all. the food was nice, big compliments to the cook! senior came back and asked if everything was in order, what it was. we were allowed to enjoy our environment and eat and it was really wonderful! we went for the classic breakfast, which costs £10.95 and this includes a hot drink and a cold drink (cold drinks were all freshly made and the tee actually comes with a pot tee) definitiw the price worth and they can taste the quality of food. overall, a really great experience and I will certainly go back. massive screams for senior once again as they have made us laugh and our time there so much more fun
First, it was amazing to eat, let's just get this out of there. all I have eaten, like a fireworks in my mouth or something, if I could, I would drive the 5 hours specifically for eating. but I can't live with the photos. second, the personal was great, the music was not too loud, which is huge for me as a partly deaf person. even though it was a little loud. nothing too bad, it was a Friday night, so I didn't expect it to be. there is also a sweet little business! I didn't get the chance to look at everything by giving sauces, and that's love. the one for me was the chairs that show such a bizarre thing. we were there because we approached 3 hours, maybe and my god was I blunt when we literally left, except the uncomfortable chair was all wonderful.
The grand central filiale is closed. café concerto in the first floor is the next similar facility.
Lovely food. Unfortunately we had rather a long wait for ours. Not sure why but the staff we lovely gave us a generous discount and a bag of lovely desserts to take with us as we had to catch a train. Staff were lovely and attentive. Picture of takeaway cake. Food got devoured before I could think of taking a photo of it!
Staff friendly, only had a drink but the red wine was nice ! The shop was really good, full of nice produce and gift boxes
