Met old friends for a catch up early lunchtime and enjoyed more of a late breakfast than a lunch time meal but it was excellent and thoroughly enjoyed with a lovely glass of wine. The service was excellent and it seemed to be no trouble for the waiter to accommodate all our different reqests. Can only say how enjoyable it was and looked like the good service continued as it became more busy. View all feedback.
What Cantabria123 doesn't like about Cafe Rouge Birmingham:
I had bought a wowcher, when we arrived the lady was very frosty and couldn't find the reservation. When she found it she just pointed at a notice that said the voucher wasn't acceptable. She appeared like we were such an inconvenience that we had the nerve to even walk into the place. A day with a friend from Austria brought me first time to the cafe rouge. cold December afternoon and a good cup coffee in their service makes it great the colors of the ortes are very warm and invite them to enjoy for hours coffee and mix it on croissants. superb!
Just had a lovely dinner in Cafe Rouge in the Bull Ring tonight. Sandro and James gave us fabulous attentive service. I am very sad to hear that the last Cafe Rouge will be leaving Birmingham in July! Will try to come back before the doors close for good!
Cafe rouge was a nice light lunch stop. The food was good and we enjoyed a bottle of Prosecco over lunch. Staff friendly and welcoming.
I visited Cafe Rouge in Birmingham yesterday for pre-theatre drinks and food. We opted for the lunchtime menu and were extremely pleased with our experience. The ambiance was lovely, and the waitress who served us upstairs was fantastic - she made us feel very welcome. The food was delicious; I ordered the Croque Madame and chips and highly recommend it - the portion size was generous and the taste was excellent. The drinks were also great. I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Thank you, Cafe Rouge!
