Had the curry mutton and rice and peas. Best I’ve ever had apart from my mums. No bones in the mutton which we like, the rice and peas was lovely and the steam vegetables. Been going there for a few years. I would definitely recommend...it. The only let down is the telephone service need to be more polite. View all feedback.
What Sebastian Jackson doesn't like about Blue Marlin Caribbean English Take Away:

I visited this restaurant for a meal and thoroughly enjoyed the delicious mutton, rice, and peas. The ackee and saltfish were also incredibly tasty. I will definitely be returning to this restaurant in the future.

I arrived at Bordesley Station, feeling hungry and unsure of what to eat before heading to watch a game at St. Andrews. Another customer recommended the Stewed Curry and Rice and Peas, and I am so glad I listened! The portion was huge, juicy, and incredibly delicious - possibly the best Caribbean food I have ever tasted. The prices were fair as well. If you prefer dining in, they also have a small area with stools available. I will definitely be returning here on my next visit to St. Andrews. I highly recommend this takeaway, as it really hits the spot.
Don't be put off by the look of this place. The food is fantastic. I have always been underwhelmed by Caribbean food but I guess I wasnt getting the good stuff. That changed when I tried blue marlin. Curry mutton, peppered steak, jerk chicken and...curry chicken are all very tasty. Service can be slow but this is due to how busy the place always seems to be (always a sign of quality) staff very friendly also
