Ababeel
Description
Nestled in a convenient location, this restaurant-hotel hybrid offers a unique blend of hospitality and comfort. Guests appreciate the friendly and accommodating staff, who often go above and beyond to ensure a pleasant experience. Despite some recent challenges, such as a closed restaurant and the absence of breakfast options during renovations, visitors have enjoyed delicious meals, especially during special occasions like Ramadan. While some have noted cleanliness issues with shared bathrooms, overall, the clean, affordable rooms and the opportunity for early check-ins make this spot a recommendable choice for travelers looking for a cozy retreat.

This is a wonderfully welcoming spot for travelers. I am very grateful to the owner and the entire team for their comfort, cleanliness, friendliness, and assistance with all our needs.
I would like to express my gratitude for the incredible customer service, friendly staff, and delicious food. I also appreciate that we had the opportunity to pray after breaking our Ramadan fast. The Iftaar food and mixed grill starters were outstanding. The curries were delightful, and those Afghan naan breads are truly the best. We also enjoyed the wonderful desserts and teas. I will definitely be returning, and it's a bonus that there's a hotel upstairs. Thank you!
However, there were a few downsides. I hadn’t realized at the time of booking that the bathroom was shared, although I never encountered the other guests I would be sharing with. The sink was dirty and had hair in it, and the mixer faucet was loose but still functional. Additionally, I almost fell off the toilet because the seat was broken. The restaurant was closed during my stay, so I either had to take a short five-minute walk to nearby takeaways or order food in. Overall, it was a pleasant stay despite these issues.
Very comfortable place clean ,and the hosts were very hospitable, secure vehicle parking as well ,very food value for money, as I was staying over for work .
A good budget hotel. Had a single room with private shower and toilet for £49. Room was of a reasonable size, clean, freshly decorated and had a comfortable bed. Tea and coffee making facilities and a couple of packets of nice biscuits. Could not find the TV remote and the staff could not have been more helpful. Shower/bathroom was very compact and I could have done with something more than the single hand towel although I'm sure it would have been provided had I bothered to ask. It's a pity the restuarants closed and there's currently no breakfast option as the kitchen is being refurbished. Can recommend and shall use again.
