We arrived and we were the only people there (It looked like the place had just opened), the waiter/bartender wasn't very inviting and we ended up asking if we could take a seat. However we went for food and the food was amazing by Ba Ha! She was the cook and also the waitress and the service and food was phenomenal I highly recommend! Becky the cook was lovely 1000 trades has plenty of drinks and good quality drinks... View all feedback.
What OpenTable Diner doesn't like about 1000 Trades:
Food was ok. Self service. Dining area too small, our table was too close to the one next to us, when the people on the next table went out to buy drinks, they kept pushing our plates with their bums! So rude! View all feedback.
Absolutely stunning. Enjoyed a Sunday Roast here and was blown away by the flavours. The atosphere was faultless too with a jazz pianist playing creating a peaceful and relaxed environment and to top it all off the service was fantastic too; friendly, helpful and polite. Good luck with the venture and may it go from strength to strength.
Had a great time eating various tasty bits and bobs off the Salt Earth pop up menu. Never been to 1000 Trades before but it had a great atmosphere, great 80s music and it wasn't played too loud so me and my partner could talk. Was dancing in my seat! Service was excellent too. Would go again. Importantly to me its good to see local food trades and artists supported!
Best Sunday lunch (apart from my moms) I’ve had in a long, long time! Cute place, great staff, banging Sunday roast!
Great sound in the jewelery quarter in brum. we were around 17 o'clock for a drink and a children's game. very friendly staff and a large selection of craft shops inc a large salopianbrewery dangermousse ipa at 6% off! we had popcorn prawns that were crisp and tasty with a smokey BBQ sauce. the place is a typical mixture of shabby chic a mixture of 60s chairs and tables loaded stone walls and galvanized cable floors but really well made. music not too loud. not expensive, beer sub £5 and prawns £4. but I wonder how it would be to 10 o'clock in the opposite to 5 o'clock. heaving! go early and enjoy them. we have!
Fabulous love this pub dog friendly real fire knowledgeable staff changing ales. This is one of the best pubs in Brum.
