As someone who was new to Birmingham I was hoping my first weekend out would be great! Saw this place by chance by the bar service was slow. I waited 4 and half songs before someone even turned around one of them was a Celine Dion). Drinks aren’t overpriced, but you’d wish you’d got hammered before you got in. Drag queens are amazing. I'm here every few months. I have to admit on Wednesday, the karaoke is amazing and Dahlia always makes you very welcome. I always felt safe, loved and respected at the Village Inn, Birmingham.
Great night outside and very late open. Bouncers are very friendly and happy to help people.
Went for Karaoke night on Wednesday and the weekly Titans drag competition on Thursday. Performances are advertised as starting at 10 PM, but usually starts around 10.30 PM or 11 PM, depending on crowd. Drinks are affordable. Place feels safe as guests are reminded to remain respectful towards drag queens.
